The Orkest van de Utrechtse Heuvelrug is an initiative to promote (nearly forgotten) Dutch orchestral works and combine them in programs with more familiar ‘standard’ repertoire. Our first concert was March 29th at the Oosterkerk venue in Zeist. The program consisted of Ludwig van Beethoven’s Egmont Overture, Philip Loots’ Eerste Symfonie and Adriaen Valerius’ Three Seventeenth Century Dutch Tunes, arranged by Hans Kindler.
