The Orkest van de Utrechtse Heuvelrug is an initiative to promote (nearly forgotten) Dutch orchestral works and combine them in programs with more familiar ‘standard’ repertoire. Our first concert in the Spring of 2025 was a success and therefore we are organising a second one with different repertoire. Sign-up here to join us in this exciting program. While this form is in Dutch, internationals are also very welcome. If you have any questions, reach out to Massimo via the contact form on this website. Rehearsals can be given in both Dutch and English. The orchestra is looking for musicians with a relatively high level: amateurs with a lot of orchestral experience, conservatory students and professional musicians, who would love to perform this lesser-known repertoire.

Contribution fee
€45,- for students and €65,- for non-students. This contribution is used to rent a rehearsal location, as well as a concert location. It is also used to purchase scores, the promotion of the concert, a concert photographer and possibly a recording of the concert on location.
Nota bene
Everybody with the aforementioned level of playing is welcome to join our project orchestra. If we receive a large number of application, we could ask you to send us a video of you playing.
